Background

Lyla Carrity is the eldest daughter of Master Beaufort Carrity, a successful stablemaster in Terrick's Roost, and his seamstress wife. She began waiting tables at the Rockcliff Inn when she was fifteen to bring in money to assist her family and found she enjoyed the work immensely. Meeting all sorts of interesting people, hearing all the town gossip and stories of far off places, it seemed a fine way to make a few coppers indeed! Though she has a reputation as a very "friendly" girl, to her pride she has only ever worked as an honest barmaid and never taken money for the less…reputable trades practiced at the Rockcliff.

It was always assumed she'd eventually marry up to one of the local knights she kept company with, but her heart eventually called her beyond the Roost. In late 288 she said goodbye to her family, friends and easy old life, and picked up and moved to Stonebridge. She obtained work at Crane's Crossing, though her ambitions go beyond that noble establishment. One day, she vows, she'll own an inn herself - far better than any of the ones she's worked in! The best inn in the Riverlands! She spends her days waiting tables and tending bar, keeping company with journeyman blacksmith Tym Rivers, and working on her dream.

OOC Note: Lyla is an NPC that's sort've jointly controlled by Jarod, Tym and Lucienne. It can be assumed she's minxing around Stonebridge waiting tables, should anyone have need of her.
